HAC Annual Wine Tasting

At the beginning of February, we hosted the annual Wine Tasting and it was such a great event! Thank you to all of the members that attended and a special thanks to our host, Mary Ellen Whitworth for opening her beautiful home. Our guest speaker, Trevor Wiedeman, is the manager of Le Colonial and took us through a comparison of California and French wines.

• Comparison #2 - Domaine Matrot Marange 2016 vs Hahn Monterrey County

• Comparison #3 - Chateau Fourcas Dupre 2015 Medoc vs Quilt Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2016

Trevor was very knowledgeable on the wines and answered all of our questions. He even understood and put up with us once we started getting a little chatty :)

Overall, the event was a great success, a very diverse group of all ages and all the Tri Deltas that attended said they had a really great time! We highly suggest trying to attend the event every year. The annual Wine Tasting is a good time for the members to relax, enjoy some wine and meet new members or catch up with old ones!
